If you are like us, then you like to keep your site looking as clean, simple and well organized as possible. For this very reason, we have developed a method of displaying the cart total that gives us the control that we desire. So in this video, we will learn how to create a simple cart total that will display in a dynamic menu.
We will:
- Add a View Cart link to a dynamic menu with unique ID and hidden span html
- Create a Cart Summary Content holder and display hidden "module_cartsummary" text on all page templates
- Add image and css to style "View Cart" link
- Add javascript to detect the amount of items in a cart and display in "View Cart" link menu item
